ABOUT
Rachael brings seven years of experience working on the second floor of Toronto City Hall. She spent six years working for Councillor Jaye Robinson during her tenure as Chair of Public Works & Infrastructure and Chair of the Toronto Transit Commission (TTC).
She started her career at City Hall as a Constituency Assistant and continued to take on additional responsibilities in successive roles, including as Manager of Stakeholder Relations and Communications where she worked on files such as major capital projects, transportation initiatives, and local development. Most recently, she served as Manager of Policy and Strategic Initiatives to newly-elected Councillor Rachel Chernos Lin, helping establish a new office and providing strategic guidance to the team and Councillor on navigating the complexities of City Hall.
In 2018, Rachael played a leading role transitioning Councillor Robinson’s office into the new 25-ward system. Rachael has also contributed to three successful municipal election campaigns in key operational roles. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree with a Double Major in Political Science and English Language & Literature from Western University, where she graduated on the Dean’s Honour List.
Outside of work, she enjoys exploring Toronto’s culinary scene and hiking through the city’s ravine network with her dog, Ellie.
