LAND ACKNOWLEDGEMENT

Sussex Strategy Group respectfully acknowledges that our work spans across many territories.

For our offices in Toronto, we are situated on the traditional lands of the Mississaugas of the Credit, the Anishinaabeg, the Chippewa, the Haudenosaunee, and the Wendat peoples. In Ottawa, our office is located on the unceded territory of the Algonquin Anishnaabeg People. These lands remain a gathering place and home for many diverse First Nations, Inuit, and Métis peoples.

As we carry out our work, we acknowledge the traditional custodians or stewards of this land, and we strive to act with honour, respect, and gratitude. We recognize the importance of advancing reconciliation and commit to learning from and with Indigenous communities, as we work towards a future that embraces equity, partnership, and respect for all peoples.
