Jordan Penic and Brooke Crewson Featured in Lobby Monitor

This week, Lobby Monitor spoke to Sussex's newest additions Jordan Penic and Brooke Crewson about joining our Energy and Municipal practices.

After more than a decade of experience advising Ontario's electricity market operator, as well as three provincial ministers, Jordan Penic has brought his knowledge of all things energy to Sussex Strategy in what he describes as a "pivotal time".

"You're seeing technology that's constantly evolving, transportation and industry is electrifying, [and] individuals and communities are really seeking ways to produce energy themselves," Penic said. "You're even seeing municipalities asking about how to decarbonize... This is a lot of change for businesses, associations, or advocacy groups to navigate in what's an already fairly complex sector. I think this is where I can come in and help clients really navigate these challenges, help them to understand the intriciacies of different players and help broker solutions."

Also bringing Queen's Park experience to Sussex is Brooke Crewson, who joined the company's municipal practice as an associate at the start of July. She will work with clients on housing policy, rural affairs, infrastructure, small business development, and innovation.
