ABOUT
Vicky is a seasoned social strategist, digital audience expert, and brand storyteller. As our Social Community Manager and Strategist, Vicky develops strategies and manages digital campaigns in the natural resource, environment and public affairs space.
She excels at developing comprehensive brand narratives that support business growth and objectives, while helping organizations build authentic online communities. Vicky utilizes a blend of creative, analytical and strategic insights to tell compelling stories and elevate brand profiles.
Prior to Sussex, she worked at TVO Media Education Group, implementing a digital-first strategic plan to engage younger audiences in current affairs through a social media journalism project called The Thread, informed by artificial intelligence. She’s also worked at global advertising agency Ogilvy, as a Strategist on the Social team, working with brands like Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts, IKEA and the Hong Kong Jockey Club.
She has also worked closely with clients in education, technology and in public institutions — leveraging social media as a catalyst for digital transformation and growth. These include Toronto Metropolitan University’s DMZ and Galeries Ontario/Ontario Galleries.
Vicky holds a BA in Media Production from the RTA School of Media, at the Toronto Metropolitan University.
Outside of work, Vicky is an avid knitter and reader (but not at the same time!) You can find her biking around the city to her favourite bakeries.
