ABOUT

Teodora brings thorough policy analysis, exceptional writing skills, and strategic thinking to her advocacy efforts on significant policy issues. She works on files at the intersection of climate, energy, and innovation, where she works across numerous policy areas, including clean growth, renewable energy, electricity, and technological solutions for emissions reductions.

She has led advocacy campaigns, analyzed policies, prepared government funding submissions, and provided insights on political affairs, fostering trust with government stakeholders.‍

Teodora first joined Sussex in 2022 as part of the Environment team . After leaving to pursue her Master’s degree, she has returned, this time as an Associate on the Federal team, to continue supporting clients in the clean technology industry. While working with the Environment team, , Teodora worked with clients both federally and provincially on the circular economy, biodiversity, and emissions reduction strategies. With a renewed focus, Teodora is keen to apply her broad, wide-ranging environmental and energy policy to Federal issues.‍

Teodora has dedicated her career to empowering communities and delivering equitable solutions. Her Master’s thesis focused on policy recommendations to support newcomers in labor market integration. As a Digital Content Specialist, she supported non-profits and human rights organizations with creative content and strategy for advocacy campaigns.

Teodora has also gotten involved in several political campaigns provincially and municipally, leveraging her strategic communications and media expertise.‍Teodora holds a Master of Public Policy from McGill University, an Honours Bachelor of Arts With Distinction from the University of Toronto with a Double-Major in Ethics, Society, and Law and Urban Studies, as well as a Post-Graduate Certificate in Government Relations Management from Seneca College. During her Master’s, Teodora served as Editor-in-Chief of The Bell, the school’s policy newspaper. She was also a judge at the McGill Policy Association’s Case Competition.‍

Outside of work, Teodora enjoys travelling, spontaneous dinners with friends, and an active day outdoors hiking and rock climbing.
