ABOUT
As the Vice President and Health Care Practice Lead, Sadaf is a trusted advisor who specializes in helping health care and life sciences clients shape and influence government policy to meet their specific needs and objectives.
She has successfully supported clients in accessing government funding and developing grassroots advocacy initiatives. With a knack for identifying issues and developing robust strategies, she uses her strong interpersonal skills to implement solutions.
Prior to Sussex, Sadaf worked at a boutique government relations firm and the Ontario Medical Association, where she led the Association’s government relations and advocacy efforts. She gained political experience serving in the office of Councillor and Budget Chief Gary Crawford at Toronto City Hall and working on various election campaigns.
Sadaf holds an BA Honours in International Relations and Global Development from Toronto Metropolitan University and volunteers her time on numerous not-for-profit boards.
Outside of work, Sadaf enjoys running in the warmer months, traveling, and walking her dog, Saul (not Better Call Saul – Saul Berenson from Homeland).
