ABOUT
In his role as Vice President part of the Federal and Energy Practices, Rémi brings his expertise in a wide range of sectors including energy, government relations, communications, ESG and stakeholder relations.
Prior to Sussex, Rémi was part of the leadership team at Evolugen, Brookfield Renewable’s Canadian platform. There, he developed and executed joint government and external relations strategies that successfully positioned Evolugen as a renewable energy transition leader at all levels of government.
Rémi also has extensive experience leading external relations, including Indigenous partnerships, government relations, communications, stakeholder relations, philanthropy and brand management to strategically position organizations in the evolving Canadian marketplace.
He’s held several senior roles within the Federal Government, working for the Prime Minister of Canada and various Ministers and has also worked as a Political Advisor on election campaigns and as a departmental official. He's also held roles in public affairs, including a Senior Advisor position for a leading Public Affairs agency in Montreal, QC.
Rémi holds an executive MBA from Queen University’s Smith School of Business. He also sits on the board of the Fondation Santé Gatineau, which is the Outaouais region’s largest health and social services philanthropic organization.
Outside of work, Rémi enjoys working on his golf swing, fishing and skiing.
