As a Digital Strategist Associate, Phil supports the planning, development, and management of digital projects and campaigns for Sussex clients in the education, health care, and energy spaces.
Phil has been instrumental in the development of impactful digital advocacy and awareness campaigns. His work has supported a range of initiatives, from clean energy projects in Ontario and the Arctic to not-for-profit and social services organizations.
Phil's expertise includes developing digital creative assets, landing pages, content and messaging, and out-of-home advertising projects. His contributions have helped organizations successfully achieve their digital campaign objectives and raise awareness for their causes.
Phil specializes in content and narrative development, and has extensive experience working as a writer, researcher, and project manager in the public and not-for-profit sectors where he supported a wide range of advocacy projects in Ontario, and across Canada. His written work has appeared in various publications such as Explore Magazine, Our Times Magazine, and Active History. His experience with digital advocacy projects includes working closely with Defining Moments Canada and the People's Archive of Rural Ontario.
Phil holds a BA in History and Journalism from Bishop’s University, an MA in Teaching and Learning from McGill University, and an MA in History from the University of Guelph.
Outside of work, Phil enjoys biking, reading, gardening, and rooting for the Blue Jays.
