ABOUT
As the Energy Intern at Sussex, Greg brings a growing academic foundation in politics, philosophy, and economics, alongside an interest in urban planning, public policy, and global affairs. He is passionate about understanding how political systems, economic forces, and infrastructure intersect to shape meaningful outcomes.
Greg is currently pursuing a degree in Politics, Philosophy, and Economics at Queen’s University as well as a certificate in Urban Planning. He joins Sussex with a keen interest in politics, both on a geopolitical scale and at the policy level. He is also a member of the Queen’s Student Investing Group, where he is gaining experience with financial markets and investment strategy, complementing his policy-oriented education with practical economic insight.
Before joining Sussex, Greg worked in carpentry, as well as in youth leadership roles as a camp counsellor. These experiences helped him develop strong communication skills, a collaborative mindset, and a grounded work ethic that he brings to his role this summer. He is excited to contribute to meaningful client work while learning from a team deeply engaged in Canada’s energy sector.
Outside of work and school, Greg enjoys sports, being a big soccer fan, a golfer and a skier. Greg is also a musician, having played the Cello ever since he was little.
