ABOUT
Carys is a Senior Associate, part of the Health Care & Ontario Practice. She specializes in facilitating impactful government relations strategies to shape and influence policy at all levels of government.
She worked for two different Ministers of Energy, gaining extensive knowledge of government processes and the energy sector. Throughout her government experience, she developed a deep understanding of public policy, crisis communications and stakeholder relations, and was instrumental in driving transformational policy initiatives. She has served as a senior political advisor on numerous provincial and federal campaigns, leading to her exceptional understanding of the political decision-making process.
Carys is the founder of the Sussex Women in Politics Program. She is a leader in driving change to improve representation and encourage more women to get involved in politics. The Women in Politics Program highlights prominent female leaders and policies that impact Canadian women and supports women entering the political field through the annual Women in Politics Internship Program.
Carys is an advocate for supporting local communities, sitting on the St. Michael’s Hospital Youth Leaders Board in Toronto, the Toronto Chapter of Equal Voice, as well as the Neuchatel Junior College Canadian Advisory Committee.
Carys attended Neuchatel Junior College in Switzerland and New York University. She also holds a bachelor's degree in political science from the University of Toronto.
