Zoë is an Associate on the Strategic Communications team at Sussex. Zoë comes from the fast-paced world of advertising, where she strategized and executed corporate branding, communications strategies, and integrated communications campaigns for brands like Merck Pharmaceuticals, Budweiser, and Hershey. While working on Merck Pharmaceuticals (US), she strategized and executed communications campaigns, coordinated production, managed medical-legal review, and managed financial reporting to her clients. Zoë also has experience supporting pharmaceutical clients in the Canadian field, including Bayer, Sunovion, UCB, and Boehringer Ingelheim.

Her proudest work on Merck Pharmaceuticals involved a Veterans Vaccination Program focused on increasing vaccination rates at Veterans Affairs (VA) hospitals in the Northeast United States, where many veterans – particularly homeless veterans – are less likely to receive proper preventative care in a timely manner. This community engagement program involved raising awareness of the publicly-funded healthcare services available to veterans in a hospital’s catchment area, which targeted changing the negative perceptions of VA hospitals so that veterans would feel secure visiting their local VA hospital for vaccinations in the future.

Zoë has also worked on numerous election campaigns and leadership races at the municipal, provincial and federal levels of government. Our clients will benefit from her analytical, creative thinking in areas like strategic communications planning, stakeholder relations, media relations, and digital marketing.
